Experienced Bicycle Mechanic
The Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Bicycle Mechanic to join our workshop team in Kenilworth, Cape Town.
This is a full-time, on-site position within a busy, professional workshop servicing a wide range of bicycle brands and technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing bicycles to the highest standard while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and repair road, mountain, gravel, e-bike, and commuter bicycles.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently and accurately.
- Build and true wheels to a professional standard.
- Service and maintain suspension components.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, maintenance requirements, and recommendations.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness, organisation, and quality standards.
- Assist in achieving workshop turnaround times and customer satisfaction goals.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience working as a bicycle mechanic.
- Proven ability to work independently on a wide range of bicycle brands and systems.
- Strong knowledge of modern bicycle components and technologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and workmanship.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
- Previous experience in a professional bicycle workshop is essential.

The Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Bicycle Sales Consultant to join our retail team in Kenilworth, Cape Town.
This is a full-time, on-site position within a premium cycling retail environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience, providing expert product advice, and helping customers find the right bikes, equipment, apparel, and accessories to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with bicycle, equipment, apparel, and accessory purchases.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
- Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Provide accurate product recommendations based on customer needs and riding goals.
- Maintain excellent product knowledge across bicycles, components, accessories, apparel, and nutrition products.
- Ensure the showroom is well-presented, organised, and fully stocked.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in achieving store sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
- Work closely with the workshop and bike fit teams to provide a seamless customer experience.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a retail sales environment.
- Previous experience in the cycling industry is highly advantageous.
- Passion for cycling and strong knowledge of bicycles, components, and accessories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales.
