Martín Vidaurre delivered a masterclass in patience and precision to claim victory at the inaugural UCI World Cup XCO race at Soldier Hollow.
On a brand-new course that rewarded equal parts speed, strategy, and timing, Martín remained firmly in contention throughout the race, riding inside the top ten while the lead group traded positions on Soldier Hollow's fast, flowing circuit. With wide-open passing zones, punchy climbs, and high-speed singletrack creating opportunities at every turn, the race stayed together deep into the final lap.

Positioning himself perfectly before the course funneled into the final singletrack sector, he surged to the front and took control of the race. From there, he dictated the pace before launching a race-winning attack in the closing stages, opening a five-second gap and crossing the line alone to claim a historic first World Cup victory at Soldier Hollow.
